Welcome to Whitmore Junior Academy, where we open our doors to enthusiastic young cricketers, both boys and girls, from their very first Reception year right through to the U19 category. Here, we're committed to providing a rich and comprehensive training and match experience, designed to nurture talent at every step of their journey.

At the heart of our academy are 11 dynamic teams that span the age groups of U8, U10, U12, U13, U14, U16, and U19. These teams represent the academy in various formats, from thrilling matches to high-stakes competitive leagues, county, and even national cup competitions. However, Whitmore Junior Academy is more than just about the thrill of the match day. We place a significant emphasis on training – it's here, on the practice grounds, where the magic really happens. Our players hone their skills, tap into their potential, and weave together memories that will last them a lifetime, all under the watchful eyes of our expert coaching staff.

Our Junior Academy is the beating heart of our Girls’ Cricket teams. As a key Staffordshire hub for Girls’ and Women’s Cricket in Staffordshire, we proudly field teams in the Staffordshire Girls' leagues at U11, U13 and U15.

Our teams also compete on the national stage in the ECB National T20 Cups for U13, U15, and U19.

Our girls’ teams have already achieved remarkable success on the national stage, with our U15 Girls crowned National T20 Champions in 2022 and our U13 Girls finishing as National T20 Runners-up in 2024.

Our summer Junior Academy Training sessions are a highlight of our programme, taking place on the lush fields of Whitmore CC every Friday evening starting at 6 pm. As the seasons turn and winter draws in, our commitment to development doesn't waver. From January to March, Friday evenings are dedicated to winter training sessions, ensuring that our players remain sharp, engaged, and ready for the challenges ahead.
