Before getting started, there are a couple of important registration steps that all players must complete, so please take a moment to read the information below in full.

Step 1: Register on Pitchero (Club Membership System)

You’re already in the right place — if you’re reading this, you’re on our Pitchero website or app!

All players must complete their registration on Pitchero, our official membership platform. This is essential for:

Safeguarding and welfare
Contact and medical information
Membership and match fee agreements

You’ll be asked to provide:

Full contact details
Emergency contact information
Medical details and relevant consents
Parent/guardian consent (for junior players)

For junior players (U18):

The system will first ask a parent/guardian to create their own account, and then add the junior player’s details as part of that process.

Additional junior consents include:

Use of changing and showering facilities
Participation in open age cricket (where applicable)
Use of photos/videos (safeguarding and club promotion)

Already have a Pitchero account with another club? You should use your existing account to join Whitmore. If you’re unsure how to do this, please speak to your coach, captain or another club official who will put you in touch with the right person. Please do not create a duplicate account.

Step 2: Register on Play-Cricket (ECB System)

All players must also be registered on the ECB (England and Wales Cricket Board) Play-Cricket system. This is used for:

Player registration
League eligibility (required by some competitions)
Fixtures, results and official records

Already registered with another club? No problem — our club administrators can transfer you. Please speak to your coach, captain or another club official who will put you in touch with the right person. Please do not create a duplicate account.

Important – Registration Required Before Taking Part

To be clear:

Pitchero registration (including safeguarding and medical information) must be completed before taking part in any training sessions, matches or club activities.
Play-Cricket registration must also be completed before playing in any matches (friendly or competitive).

This is a strict club policy and applies to all teams.

Membership Subscriptions & Match Fees

All players are required to purchase the appropriate club membership and pay match fees where applicable.

New players are welcome to attend up to 2 free taster training sessions before committing to membership
Discounted membership rates are available until 1st May
All memberships must be fully paid or have an active instalment plan in place by 31st May
