HUNDRED+Club Rules

Objective

The primary goal of the HUNDRED+ Club is to raise funds for Whitmore CC while offering members the opportunity to win prizes through regular draws.

HUNDRED+ Club Membership

  1. Eligibility: Membership is open to individuals aged 18 and above.
  2. Subscription: Members can subscribe by paying a monthly fee of £5 on the first of each month or a sum of £60 to be paid annually.
  3. Numbers: Each member is randomly allocated a unique number between 1 and 100, which remains theirs as long as their subscription is up to date.
  4. Limit: Initial membership is limited to 100 individuals. Should interest exceed expectations, the HUNDRED+ Club will expand its membership beyond the initial 100, adjusting prize distribution.

Payments

  1. Method: Payments can be made via bank transfer only.
  2. Deadline: All monthly payments must be made by the 1st of the month.
  3. Non-Payment: Failure to pay the subscription fee by the deadline results in the member's number being suspended from the draw for that month.

Draws

  1. Frequency: Monthly draws will be conducted during the 1st Junior Training session of each month.
  2. Prizes: Based on the assumption that all 100 numbers are paid for at £5 per number, creating a total prize fund of £500, the distribution of the prize money according to the specified percentages would be as follows:

  • 1st Prize: 25% of £500 = £125
  • 2nd Prize: 15% of £500 = £75
  • 3rd Prize: 10% of £500 = £50

This distribution ensures that 50% of the monthly income is divided into three prizes, rewarding members while supporting the fund's objectives.

  1. Notification: Winners will be notified by either phone, text, Pitchero or in-person as soon as possible of the draw.
  2. Collection: Prizes must be claimed before the following monthly draw. Unclaimed prizes will be returned to the prize pool.

Transparency

  1. Record Keeping: Records of all members, payments, and draw outcomes will be maintained and available for review upon request.
  2. Oversight: The HUNDRED+ Club will be overseen by the Club Management Committee, ensuring fairness and transparency in all activities.

Amendments

Rules may be amended at the discretion of the Club Management Committee with notice given to all members 30 days in advance.

Termination

  1. Cancellation: Members may cancel their subscription at any time by email to the Club Treasurer: finance@whitmorecricket.club
  2. Dissolution: In the event of the HUNDRED+ Club's dissolution, any remaining funds after prize distributions will be donated to Whitmore Cricket Club
